Hobie Kayak Fishing Barra Action with the filming of YH Episode 4 at Lake Monduran Holiday Park Most of you would have seen this footage, I can’t wait to see the full Episode !! You may notice that everyone is on a HOBIE! Scott Bryant is a Hobie Team Fisho, he is one of those people who absolutely loves the sport but always finds time to give back to others and help out!
Here’s Scott Bryant’s post
“What a week, with the team from Yak Hunters Australia in tow we had one goal, to find and land one our most difficult fish species, #barramundi
The team put in some big hours, fishing through the night and trying to sleep through the days and it paid off, with countless lures lost, kayaks getting dragged into trees, some epic bust offs and a couple of broken rods they managed to land some absolute beasts, with nothing under 90cm.
There were heartache, frustrations, and jubilation but in total 7 fish were landed between 93cm and 101cm.
For me this is what it’s all about, to be able to take people out and give them the experience of a lifetime, and the opportunity to catch those fish always puts a smile on my face.
A massive thank you to Gordon McGillivray from Sunstate Hobie for lending us a brand new #hobiepassport12 decked out with all the bells and whistles, the #hummingbirdhelix7 was perfect, your support and help over the last few years has been fantastic mate, greatly appreciated.
And to Blake Hughes from Aussie Kayak & Fishing Adventures for getting everyone set up over those first few days, your help and knowledge was priceless in helping everyone get onto fish.
Time to get ready for the next trip, I can’t wait “
