Hobie Pro Angler 14 Fitted With Torqeedo Electric Motor. We love a motor fit out here at the shop and this week we had the joy to fit yet another Torqeedo to a Brand new Hobie Pro Angler 14. There are many ways to fit these motors and plenty of videos out there to show the details of this but, we wanted a simple run through video to give our customers an understanding on how simple and clean this set up can be.

Utilizing the fittings that come standard on the Pro Angler we attached some turning blocks to allow the lines to run smoothly. A 2 to 1 Purchase is simply done by a return line at the motor to half the weigh in lifting to the up position. Installing a turnaround Block at the rail plate on the front of the boat means you pull backwards to lift the motor and simply cleat into position. a motor lock via rope and bunge is set up on the opposite side to allow the motor to reverse without it kicking up during the process. Once completed we were very happy with the out come and so was the customer
